Beloved Invites · Theodoxia LLC

Terms of service

Last updated 6 November 2026 · This page is in English; the English text is the one that applies.

The short version: you get a painted invitation website, you can ask for revisions, nothing goes live until you approve it, and the refund rules are below. Please only upload photos you have the right to use.

1. Who we are

Beloved Invites is a service of Theodoxia LLC, a Delaware limited liability company, United States ("we", "us"). You can reach us at hello@belovedinvites.com.

These terms apply when you order an invitation ("you" is the person who orders and pays). By paying, you agree to them.

2. What you buy

A personal invitation website for your event, made from your photos and details: paintings in the style you choose, the sections and add-ons in your package, hosting at <your-name>.belovedinvites.com (or your own domain, if you buy one) for the time shown on your package, guest replies (RSVP) and your hosts’ dashboard.

We make the paintings with the help of AI image tools and finish and check every invitation by hand. Paintings are artistic interpretations: they will look like your places and people, not like a photograph.

3. Prices, payment and tax

The price you see is the price you pay: it is shown before you pay and charged once, by card, through Stripe. Monthly add-ons ("Keep it online longer") are charged monthly until you cancel.

4. Your first draft, revisions and publishing

We send a first draft within the time shown at checkout (5 days, or 48 hours with Rush), counted from payment and from receiving the photos and details we need. You can ask for the number of revision rounds in your package. Extra rounds can be bought.

Nothing goes live until you approve it. Please check names, dates, times and addresses carefully: once you approve, you are responsible for those details.

5. Refunds

  • Before we send your first draft: a full refund. Ask any time before then.
  • After the first draft and before your invitation is published: a 50% refund.
  • After your invitation is published (you approved it and it went live): no refund, because the work is complete and you have received it.

If we cannot deliver what we promised, you always get a full refund. Add-ons we have not started are refunded in full. Refunds go back to the card you paid with within 10 days.

If you live in the EU or the UK: you have the right to cancel within 14 days. By asking us to start work straight away, you agree that if you cancel after we have started, we may keep a proportionate amount for the work done (the refund steps above), and that you lose the right to cancel once the invitation is published.

6. Your photos

You confirm that you took the photos you upload, or that you have permission from whoever owns them (for example your photographer) to have them turned into paintings and shown on your invitation. Professional photos usually belong to the photographer, so ask them first.

You keep all rights in your photos. You give us permission to use them only to make, show and host your invitation. We will not use your photos or your paintings to advertise Beloved Invites unless you say yes in writing.

If someone claims we used a photo without permission, we may take it down while we sort it out.

7. The paintings and the website

Once you have paid, you may use your paintings for any personal purpose: print them, share them, frame them. We keep the right to use the styles, layouts, code and techniques for other customers, but never your photos or your personal paintings.

8. Your guests’ information

Guests’ names, replies and any notes (such as allergies) are collected for you, the host. You decide whom to invite and what to ask. We store and process that information only to run your invitation, as your processor. Our Privacy notice explains this and our data processing terms. We delete guests’ replies after your invitation closes, as described there.

9. Fair use

Please don’t use an invitation for anything illegal, hateful, or to collect data from guests for another purpose. We may take down an invitation that breaks this, and refund any unused part.

10. Availability

We aim to keep every invitation online for the time on your package, with no planned downtime. We are not liable for short outages caused by our hosting providers or the internet.

11. Liability

Our total liability for any order is limited to what you paid for it. We are not liable for indirect losses (for example the cost of a venue). Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, or your rights as a consumer under the law of the country you live in.

12. Changes, law and disputes

We may update these terms; the version in force when you paid applies to your order. These terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, United States. If you are a consumer in the EU or the UK, you also keep the protection of the mandatory laws of your country and may bring a claim there. Please write to us first: most things are solved by an email.
